Parents should not be separated from their children, and we need to welcome families seeking asylum from violence and persecution with humanity. This kind of cruelty is not in line with American values, yet we've even seen families torn apart in places like New Fairfield. Julie believes Connecticut must stand for keeping families together, while committing to provide every child with the education and economic opportunity they need to succeed.
